Jessica Reekie,

Jessica Reekie practises exclusively in the field of Canadian citizenship, immigration and refugee law. She focuses on family class sponsorship; humanitarian & compassionate cases, citizenship applications and refugee claims. She also represents clients in a variety of immigration matters at the Federal Court and the Immigration and Refugee Board.
Jessica received
her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and her Bachelor of
Laws from Dalhousie Law School. She has lived overseas, working
as an NGO Staff Development Officer in Palestinian refugee camps
in Lebanon, and teaching English in Istanbul, Turkey. She has also
interned at the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre, where she worked
in the Research and Development department. During her three years
at law school, Jessica represented refugee claimants as volunteer
counsel at the Halifax Refugee Clinic and served as the student
coordinator of the MISA Pro-Bono Immigration Clinic in Halifax.
She clerked at the Federal Court in Ottawa and is a member of the
Law Society of Upper Canada.
