A new Canadian citizenship Study Guide – Discover Canada- has been implemented by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
The new citizenship study guide focuses on the rights and responsibilities of Canadian citizens, and on Canada’s history, military contributions, symbols, values and institutions. The new study guide also places greater emphasis on Canada’s government and politics and gives applicants more information on what it means to be a Canadian citizen.
Persons who have a test or interview is scheduled before the 15th of March 2010 should study the old guide, entitled “A Look at Canada”. All persons scheduled after the 15th of March 2010 must study the new guide.
