US Operations in Mexico Update.

The Embassy in Mexico City and the U.S. Consulate General in Ciudad Juarez are currently in the process of re-opening consular operations on a rolling basis.
According to the Consulate’s website, all immigrant visa appointments scheduled from Thursday, April 30th through Friday, May 15th have been rescheduled between June 5 and June 12. Applicants with immigrant visa appointments after May 15 should proceed to the Consulate as scheduled. The panel physicians will resume operations beginning May 11.
Applicants who have I-601 waiver appointments scheduled after May 6 should proceed to the Consulate as scheduled.
K-1 (fiancée) applicants and approved waiver applicants who have received an open appointment letter may continue with their open appointments after May 15.
Non-immigrant (visitor) visa applicants who have completed processing at the Applicant Service Center and had their consular interviews cancelled may call the call center at no charge by calling 01-800-719-2525. Appointments may be scheduled for May 7, May 8, or later.
Applicants who were scheduled for processing at the Applicant Service Center and had their processing appointments cancelled may reschedule their appointments free of charge by calling 01-800-719-2525.
The Consulate General’s non-immigrant (visitor) visa unit will resume normal operations beginning May 11.
