Marwah M. Serag, B.S., J.D

Marwah M. Serag is a member of the Bomza Law Group’s corporate immigration department.  Marwah practices exclusively in the field of immigration and nationality law, and has a vast knowledge of U.S. immigration topics, including obtaining temporary visas, permanent residence, and citizenship.

Marwah obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from Arizona State University in 2002, and earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2007.  Marwah has been called to the Bar in the State of Illinois and is licensed as a Foreign Legal Consultant by the Law Society of Upper Canada.  In addition, Marwah has earned a Certificate in International and Comparative Law and also speaks Arabic.   

Prior to joining the Bomza Law Group, Marwah worked with the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-Chicago), the Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, and DePaul University College of Law’s Immigration and Asylum Clinic.  Marwah has represented clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Executive Office for Immigration Review, and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

As a member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association (AILA), Marwah is currently serving as the AILA Canada Chapter Secretary.  She has served as a Committee Co-Chair with AILA-Chicago’s Chapter and was an invited speaker at the 2009 AILA Midwest Regional Conference.
