Jennifer R. Nees, B.A., M.HR., J.D.

Jennifer R. Nees practises exclusively in the field of immigration law, and has a wide-range of knowledge on a variety of U.S. and Canadian immigration topics. Jennifer's primary focus is on corporate immigration with respect to facilitating the international mobility of our clients' employees, as well as addressing their permanent residence issues.

She has been called to the Bar of both Ontario, Canada and Massachusetts, USA and is licensed as a Foreign Legal Consultant by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Originally from the United States, Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a Juris Doctor, a Master of HR, and a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Jennifer is an Executive Member of the Ontario Bar Association's Citizenship and Immigration Section and the current Chair of the Canada Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association.   She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada, the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Women’s Law Association of Ontario.  She has presented papers at national conferences and written several articles on U.S. and Canadian immigration law and practice.
