TN Work Visas | Working In The USA

Work Visa to the US for Canadian Skilled Workers (TN)

The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) opened up the US border to many categories of professionals. A Canadian Citizen who has a US job offer in a NAFTA approved profession may qualify for a TN Visa. The TN Visa can be applied for directly at the port of entry and is now available for up to three years at a time!

Please note that only Canadian and Mexican Citizens are allowed to apply under this category. Permanent residents of Canada are not eligible, but may have other visa options.

When is a TN Visa the Right Visa?

Qualifying applicants with Canadian citizenship are encouraged to utilize the TN Visa category whenever possible. It may be obtained directly at the port of entry immediately upon presenting the TN visa application and is valid for up to three years at a time.

That being said, the requirements for a TN visa for Canadian are concise and the TN visa application must be well presented in order to be successful. At the Bomza Law Group, we have helped thousands of TN Visa applicants to successfully obtain their TN visas. We also have successfully assisted many TN applicants to re-apply after their initial applications (prepared by other lawyers or consultants!) were refused. If you have a job offer with a US company and are a Canadian citizen, call the lawyers at the Bomza Law Group right away to determine your best mode of entry and to learn how we can help you achieve your goals.
